What is ROMULUS?

London

ROMULUS is Reuse Platform powered by Upcyclea, and launched in partnership with Maconda, the City of London Corporation and several London boroughs, to maximize reuse between public/private landlords, manufacturers and reuse stakeholders for the City of London.

Warning
The ROMULUS-London programme est only available in United Kingdom.

ROMULUS allows to:
  1. Respond to the challenges of circular economy, and helps decarbonizing real estate portfolios through reuse, to meet the 2030 Net0 objectives of London,
  2. Maximize reuse and industrialize the circular economy process,
  3. Produce ESG outflow indicators for non-financial reporting,
  4. Respond to the stakes of the Greater London Authority.
ROMULUS consists of 3 parts:
  1. An urban mine,
  2. A marketplace,
  3. An AI-based reuse ecosystems system.

The Urban mine

The Romulus portal

  1. Via the ROMULUS platform, PDA auditors can import deposits from their deconstruction inventories, and supply an urban mine of tens of thousands of reusable products,
  2. Architects, reuse players or manufacturers can consult ROMULUS and declare their needs for reuse, or secondary raw materials,
  3. The platform's AI will then connect stakeholders to make them offers of ecosystems of reuse/upcycling.

The comparator of reuse Noah

  1. Noah is a search service that allows to compare, in just a few clicks, thousands of reusable, destocked or reconditioned products available in Europe.
  2. Faced with the profusion of marketplaces and offers for reusable products, Noah simplifies your search by allowing to centralize and easily access the best offers on the market. Thanks to its search engine and comparison features, Noah allows to choose the best products, based on their prices, distances, and environmental impacts.

The AI-based reuse matching system

  • ROMULUS offers an AI-based function to facilitate matches between the supply of used products and needs for reuse or secondary raw materials, depending on the nature of the products/needs (via their digital passports), distance, availability, etc

  1. The platform's AI connects supply and demand for reuse, in order to maximize reuse,
  2. The algorithms propose resource regeneration ecosystems, the positive impacts of which will be calculated and available in the ESG dashboard,
Reuse ecosystems
