Private & Public Deposits

The deposits available in ROMIULUS are created by importing Pre-Demolation Audits (PDA) from an Excel format described in the documentation available here.
These imported pools are private, as they are declared in the Piraeus space (they can be shared by making them public, but they can only be modified in Piraeus).
Note that it is the Piraeus Resource Manager that imports the Excel table of PEMD deposits into Piraeus. This table is supplied by a PEMD diagnostician, who is responsible for carrying out the diagnosis, filling in the table (type of products, quantities, locations, photos, degree of wear and tear and demountability, etc.), not forgetting to add the (generic) passport identifier for each of the products identified, and sending it to the Resource Manager.

Info
The access to the library of Digital Product Passports is described here.

Needs

The Romulus user has a ‘Needs Manager’ role, which enables him/her to consult deposits and declare needs.
In his cartographic and advanced search, the user can consult ‘private’ deposits declared in Romulus, or ‘public’ deposits declared in other Upcyclea spaces, distinct from Romulus and belonging, for example, to a public or private landlord.

As shown below, the Romulus interface offers 3 views of the deposits available in Romulus:
  • Toggle ‘Private Romulus deposits’ to see only deposits declared in Romulus,
  • Toggle ‘Public deposits’ to see deposits shared by other Upcyclea spaces. Public deposits are indicated by white clouds on a purple background,
  • Toggle ‘Noah deposits’ to see the storages available in the Noah marketplace. Noah storages are marked with white ‘n’ on a purple background.

  • When the user clicks (via the icon of the man with the arm raised) on a private or public deposit, they access a form to describe their needs.

When users click (via the shopping trolley icon) on a Noah deposit, they are redirected to the Noah portal, where they can complete the transaction with the retailer concerned.
