Create a need

Create a need

You wish to declare needs for reuse or secondary raw materials to integrate reuse and recycling into your projects.

1. The need for Upcyclea Net-0

A requirement on Upcyclea Net-0 allows the requirements manager to specify the material or product sought. This is a true specification.

A need is defined by:

  • A digital product passport to characterize the product or material sought
  • The required quantity
  • The time frame of the need
  • The place of delivery

A need can be private or public . A public need will be visible to all Upcyclea Net-0 users, which maximizes the chances of it being met. A private need will only be accessible to users of the digital bank in which it is declared.

2. The stages of creation

  1. Request the free opening of a Needs Manager account on Upcyclea Net-0 by clicking here .
  2. Activate your account using the activation email you received
  3. Check out the video tutorial for entering a requirement or the PDF entry guide
  4. Start entering your needs on Upcyclea Net-0
  5. Choose whether you want your need to be “private” or “public”
  6. Submit your requirement for validation

Your needs will be matched to the resources managed in Upcyclea Net-0. Upcyclea Net-0's Resource Managers will do their best to meet your needs.

3. Consult the available deposits

From the Needs Manager role on Upcyclea Net-0, you can view all the used resource deposits with reuse potential in an Upcyclea space. This Deposit List tab also includes deposits from the Noah® library.

Noah® is a service of the Upcyclea Net-0 tool which provides access to thousands of ex-situ reusable products, from removals, reconditioning or destocking, offered on marketplaces and by Upcyclea partner recycling centers.

Project stakeholders can thus easily consult these deposits with reuse potential and their technical information (type, quantity, location, availability, etc.), and express reuse needs to integrate them into their projects.

Partner marketplaces are informed when needs are expressed on their available deposits, and can thus negotiate with the requester and organize the logistics of transferring the deposits (quantity, date, place of delivery).

A map view allows managers to display resources from the digital bank and the Noah® library, and a multi-criteria search allows them to filter resources according to their status, availability, location, origin, etc. As soon as you identify an interesting resource, you can easily create a requirement for the Resource Manager to respond to.
